Crime is up in Chicago during Coronavirus Pandemic

Over the first two-and-a-half months of 2020, killings in Chicago are up 43%. As of early Sunday, 90 homicides had been recorded in Chicago so far this year. In the CPD’s Austin District, shootings are up 56% so far this year, according to CPD data. On March 25, 2020, twelve people were shot. with all the tools needed to address the incivility epidemic in Illinois, government officials are still waisting tax pay dollars on police. Governor Priztker has announced a Fund established to help not for profits who’s work is essential during the  pandemic. what does essential mean to the Governor. distributed.https://www.ilcovidresponsefund.org

We must address this Epidemic individually and collectively.
