The mass shooting that took place at Henry Pratt Co., a manufacturer of industrial valves in Aurora, Illinois on February 15, 2019, marks the 50th mass shooting of the year and we’re only 49 days into the year. This epidemic of resolving problems by means of violence is negatively affecting people from all different backgrounds. The lost of Civility should be viewed as a life-and-death warning. Most of us are wondering, where is the next one gonna take place. 

 In 2018  the United States of America witnessed 426 mass shootings resulting in close to 600 deaths and over 1500 people injured.

What is driving People to commit these types of acts of violence should be thoroughly investigated and reported to the public so that we as a nation can use this knowledge for preventive measures. 

Mass shootings effects more than just the accuser and the victims. What we don’t hear about in the media is how thousands of friends and family members of the victims and accusers have to overcome these tragedies as well as those who witnessed the incidents.

 The smartest way to react to acts of violence is preventing the next one from happening.
