Workplace Killings

The Virginia beach Beach mass shooting that took place on May 31, 2019, Marked the 172nd mass shooting of 2019 and the 42nd workplace shooting in America.

Whenever there’s a workplace shooting more people are likely to be killed than injured. In the last 42 workplace shootings in the U.S  238 people were killed and only 153 injured. Since the #metoo movement high ranking officials of major corporations have been accused and prosecuted for sexual harassment charges. Some of the victims testified that the harassment took place for decades. Incivility toward employees could easily be linked to the deadly crimes committed in the workplace. Most of these mass shooters were irritated by co-worker and employers. Incivility exists in most corporations in and outside of America and is commonly practised amongst supervisors and upper management.
